What causes ulcers?
The use of painkillers called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as aspirin, naproxen, ibuprofen, and many others can cause ulcers.
Ulcers are sores in the lining of the digestive tract. Your digestive system consists of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum (first part of the intestine) and colon. Most ulcers are located in the duodenum. This is called a duodenal ulcer. Ulcers located in the stomach is called gastric ulcer. Ulcers in the esophagus, esophageal ulcers.
Almost all peptic ulcers occur in people with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or those infected with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori). NSAIDs anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen. H. Pylori is a bacteria that have adapted to life in the surface layer of the stomach. H. Pylori and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory jeopardize the ability of the stomach and duodenum to protect against acid and pepsin, and then tend to the formation of ulcers. Emotional stress itself does not cause ulcers, but can contribute to its development in a small part.
Signs and symptoms of peptic ulcer
The most prominent symptom of the ulcer is pain. Usually, treble and bass. In some cases, there is also pain and torment of stability in the upper abdomen. Patients can always put your finger on it.
In duodenal ulcer pain occurred when the patient is hungry, and perhaps severe enough to wake him at night. In many cases the pain is going to eat, but is worsened by taking alcohol, condiments and coffee.
Gastric ulcer patients may feel sick after taking food. Sometimes the ulcer may not be evident for several weeks or months, to clarify once again in terms of emotional stress or alcohol.

You should consult a doctor if symptoms of heartburn. Treatment usually includes a combination of drugs to kill the Helicobacter pylori bacteria, reduce acid levels, and protect the digestive tract. The combination strategy allows your ulcer to heal and reduces the possibility of return. Take your medication exactly as prescribed.
Medications may include one or more of the following elements:
